Elizabeth Rodgers has been working as a jeweler for the past 20 years, having previously been a glass artist.  Her work has been featured in over 30 shows and exhibitions. Elizabeth’s work is sterling silver with a 24K gold overlay fused by heat and pressure, an ancient Korean technique called Keum-bo. Most of the work is hollow-formed, which gives a substantial appearance but is light weight.  She finds inspiration in the natural world and in particular, the human form and voice.  To quote Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Nature is an endless combination and repetition of a very few laws.  She hums the well-known air through innumerable variations.”
