I studied jewelry and metalsmithing at Bowling Green State University
in Bowling Green, Ohio. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from BGSU in 2009.  Upon graduating I moved to Colorado to apprentice under Michael Boyd. From Michael I learned the art of stone carving and manipulation.  I am currently residing in Pueblo, Colorado, where I work for Michael as his assistant and maintain a bench in his studio.

My work comes from a playful experimentation with stone and metal, combining the two materials in a fun and cohesive way.  Exploring  new materials, shapes, colors, and processes are some of my favorite things to do and include in my work. It is very important for me to let the materials speak for

themselves.
